I just spent the last hour looking at welders

I look at tools and shop equipment the way some girls look at clothing and accessories. “Ooh, this one can do gas-shielded AND flux-core! It’s so versatile!” or “I guess I don’t really NEED a new torque wrench, but this one has a nicer grip and can torque left-handed bolts”.
Of course, I also look at clothing and accessories that way too, though I tend to emphasize storage space...
