You say we (otherkin) are illogical. Let’s be logical.
a) I feel that I am an angel (otherlimb wings, noncorporeal spirit, etc.)
b) I think this is because I was an angel in a previous life.
c) I cannot find an alternate explanation that is less complex and still covers the facts.
Thus, I am/was an angel.
That’s called Ockham’s Razor. Very nice logical tool created by William of Ockham in 1300 or thereabouts. It has stayed serviceable for 700 years. It works.
